1. Your interests shape the match

Onboarding asks for a username, a handful of interests, the languages you speak, and a preferred mode (text, voice or video). These are the only signals we use to decide who you meet. We deliberately do not infer sensitive characteristics.

2. You join a queue for one mode at a time

When you press Start, you join a queue for the mode you picked. While you wait we show the real elapsed time and the approximate number of other people waiting in the same mode. We never invent a partner or a countdown.

If nobody compatible is available, you will keep waiting. That is a real outcome on a small platform — you can cancel and try another mode at any time.

3. A match connects two people

When someone compatible is available, the server reserves the match and connects you. For text you land straight in the chat. For voice and video, your browser asks for device permission only at the moment you choose to join with microphone or camera.

Conversations are not recorded. Nothing is stored beyond the messages needed to show your chat, and reports you deliberately submit.

4. You are always in control of leaving

Skip to someone new, end the conversation, block, or report — at any time. Blocking prevents future matching with that person. Reports go to a human moderation queue.

Voice and video, honestly

Voice and video require a media provider to be configured for the deployment you are using. If it is not available, the app tells you plainly and text still works. We never fake a connection that is not really there.
